RapidEye - Orbitall Space Exhibition 2010
The FEZ-Berlin, the largest non-profit children, youth and family center in Europe, will run a year-long exhibition about RapidEye from January 22nd until the end of 2010 at their space center "Orbitall". Orbitall is part of the science center within FEZ, that allows children to complete a series of special space missions to achieve 'astronaut' status. Under the theme "Brandenburg's rapid eyes – the five satellites of RapidEye", the exhibition will highlight not only our satellites, but our international team from over 20 countries. We look forward to be a part of this project which introduces local children to the world of space and satellites.

RapidEye was a “Selected Landmark" in the event series “365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas” in 2009. The initiative highlights the spirit of innovation in Germany, and is run by “Germany – Land of Ideas” and Deutsche Bank.

Quality Is Key
In April 2008, RapidEye was granted ISO 9001:2000 certification of their Quality Management Systems (QMS) by TÜV NORD of Germany, an official accreditation body for ISO 9001 standards. They were re-certified in 2009.
Quality Management has been integrated into every level of activity at RapidEye, and periodic reviews of the QMS will be conducted to ensure that our quality is maintained, consistent, and that we are continuously improving.
